After years of watching every corner/convenience store and gas station selling cigars,
we decided to take our cigar business in another direction.
They and most cigar stores, even most internet sites, charge ridiculous prices for mediocre products.
They got caught up in the whirlwind of hype and advertising.
During and after the “Cigar Boom", we noticed the overall quality, taste and construction of most “Major Brands”
drop off and change. Today, some are OK.
The majority are way over-priced, over-hyped and "not what they used to be", as far as we are concerned.
We don’t believe cigars (Cuban, limited-production and others) should be sold for $15 to $30.
Those who over pay for the glory of obtaining illegal Cubans, over-hyped, limited-production cigar brands
are just showing off, while being bamboozled and wasting their money.
MARK OF PERFECTION CIGARS is a family-owned business.
We specialize in selling high quality cigars and accessories for a fair price.
We do not keystone the prices on our products and only charge what we pay for shipping and insurance.
We are a small operation and customer service is our number one priority. We do our best to serve you.
You do not have to purchase entire boxes. We customize all types of cigar assortments for our clients.
After scouring the internet, we have discovered we can sell you Cuvee, Olivia, Dunhill, Reyes, Carlos Toraño, Cojimar,
Cuban Crafters and Cusano cigars at a better price than anyone.
Please be advised, we cannot and will not match prices with companies who avoid paying tobacco taxes.
The practice is illegal and the companies who do it are falsely advertising ridiculously low (below our cost) prices.
We also strive to meet or beat anyone else on any cigar brand.
There are exceptions, of course, as some companies actually own the brand or bought out a company's entire
inventory for a song. We will also give you an honest opinion on any brand. There are some other cigar companies out
there who do blend and produce a nice cigar.
If we do not carry the brand, we will try to obtain it for you for a reasonable price.
During the summer of 2006, we were approached by a company (who shall remain nameless)
about carrying their "highly-rated" cigars. They were nice enough to provide samples for tasting and inspection.
We started the tasting and testing procedures and started to give them feedback.
Well, they did not like what they heard, (although, not all was bad).
They said to us, "We would prefer you stop the testing."
They explained that we did not understand the profits that could be made by carrying their cigars.
